This notice is to inform the Kensington Market community that the BIA is organizing a pedestrian lighting mock-up on 10th August 2022, Wednesday from 8:00 PM-midnight. Should it rain on the 10th of August, the mock-up will be held on Thursday, 11th August 2022, during the same time as before. Location: 64 Oxford St. (on the Augusta Ave side of the building).
The mock-up is intended to allow the community and the BIA to choose one of three lighting fixtures for the project. Pedestrian Lighting is a cost-shared project with the City of Toronto as part of Kensington Safe Streets.
The BIA is inviting Kensington Market residents and business members to come to be part of the decision-making process and help shape the market for years to come.
