The Kensington Market community has teamed up with members from the St. Stephens Community House to provide community jobs and to keep our market clean.
From May to October our Clean Streets Team collects public garbage, maintains cigarette disposals, waters BIA planters and monitors both city and BIA assets. In the winter, we also provide support with snow shovelling upon request.
This initiative it meant to be provide support to our neighbourhood’s community members and to initiate collaboration between the BIA in keeping Kensington as vibrant, clean, attractive and welcoming as possible.
