Active Project Kensington Market Streetscaping Committee x City of Toronto

The Kensington Market Streetscaping Committee is a subcommittee of the Kensington Market Business Improvement area focused on beautification of the neighbourhood streets and overall public realm.

The role of the BIA in this specific initiative is, with support from the city, to lead a group of KM stakeholders and community members to reimagine two new design projects to improve public space within Kensington Market. These design projects are a result of the Kensington Streetscape Plan, however the community is open to challenge the suggestions from the Streetscape Plan and instead work together towards developing new design initiatives as a collaborative neighbourhood-based team.
