Conceived by curator Rafi Ghanaghounian of Samara Contemporary in partnership with the Kensington Market Business Improvement Area (KMBIA) Kensington Market Illumination Project was conceived in part to reflect the variety of community shops that represent the rich history of the Market.
A series of lights will illuminate the front windows of these shops to add colour and to brighten up the streets at night.
The market is always inviting to all that enter and partake in its variety of activities. From unique shops, live music, great eats or just to hangout.
Kensington Market Illumination Project will also be online so that you can explore business according to its colour codes.
